A RETIREE has done the math on how angry the 1200 commuters scrambling daily for 400 parking spaces at Doncaster Park and Ride have become.
And so Camille Cain is renting out space in her garage for $55 a week.

Ms Cain is prepared to throw in a few extras too — like picking up the person’s dry cleaning or everyday groceries like bread and milk.
A few months ago Manningham Leader launched a campaign calling for more buses and extra parking at the Park and Ride. Either a second level or a new park and ride somewhere else.
Commuters have complained bitterly about standing in queues 70-people deep before being squashed into crowded graffiti-ridden buses.
Manningham Council has resorted to two-hour parking restrictions in neighbouring streets after fed-up residents complained commuters were hogging all the parking on their roads.
Commuters have told Leader they have given up on the Doncaster Rail happening anytime in their lifetime, and want help with improved bus services.
Ms Cain told Leader secure parking would provide good peace of mind for commuters.
“I just think about how I would feel coming in from the eastern suburbs to work and what would help me would be a definite and safe place to park,” she said.
Ms Cain wants two months’ payment in advance from anyone interested. Contact Leader on 9875 8288.
