Beauty Lies Within is located in Heathcote — 45kms east of Bendigo.
The beauty spa offers massage therapy, has a facial bar, waxing and permanent hair reduction.
And like the name, there is definitely beauty lying within.
Karen O’Connell shared to the salon’s Facebook page that she was feeling blessed to be nominated in the competition, and thanked all of her beautiful clients for taking the time to vote for her business.
“You’re the reason I come to work each day — thank you,” she wrote.
LASH & BROW ON VIEW: BENDIGO
Lash & Brow on View in Bendigo specialises in eyelash Extensions, cosmetic tattooing, brow henna, brow lamination, lash lifting, tinting, waxing, threading, teeth whitening and tanning.
The team’s aim is to provide clients with an authentic beauty experience and results, where customers will feel comfortable and relaxed as soon as they walk through the door.
BEYOND LUXE: MEL — ECHUCA
Located in the heart of Echuca, Beyond LUXE is a small business and knows how to make their clients feel incredible.
The beauty salon took to Facebook that it was such an honour to be recognised and nominated in the competition.

WINNER
ALFREDTON HAIR AND BEAUTY: AMY PRIEST — ALFREDTON
Alfredton Hair and Beauty — west of Ballarat — has taken home the gold.
The salon received the most votes in the competition and has been crowned as the winner.
Beauty therapist Amy Priest, who has been in the profession since 2016, told the Herald Sun she was surprised and was not expecting the news.
Ms Priest said there weren’t many challenges in her job but it was important to keep up with trends and building relationships with clients.
She said what she loved most was being able to transform people.
“I always look forward to seeing different clients every few weeks and catching up,” Ms Priest said.
She added that a brow session can be anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes depending on what service they are getting.
“Most people get them done just on a regular basis every four weeks — everyone likes to keep up with the tinting and keeping them to look nice and tidy,” Ms Priest said.
