A Victorian man with an indefinitely disqualified licence has faced court over 33 alleged driving offences
The Bendigo Magistrates’ Court heard Christopher Reynolds, 37, who also goes by the name Christopher Cox, had allegedly been driving illegally across the state, including Mildura, Ballarat, Hoppers Crossing, Werribee and Kangaroo Flat.
Reynolds is facing eight counts of allegedly driving while disqualified, seven of allegedly driving an unregistered vehicle along with a host of alleged careless and reckless driving charges, alleged theft and allegedly failing an oral fluid test.
The court also heard that Mr Reynolds had allegedly tested positive to driving under the influence of methylamphetamine during one of his alleged driving offences.
Mr Reynolds said he wasn’t aware if any illegal substances would show up in the oral fluid test, although he did say he took two points of meth two months prior and some valium prescribed to him after a hospital visit, according to police.
It was also levied that Mr Reynolds had stolen fuel from a service station in Ballarat.
The matter was adjourned and Mr Reynolds will again appear at Bendigo Magistrate Court on April 15.
