Three people taken to hospital after Harcourt North pileup

Three people including a woman in her 70s have been taken to hospital after a multi-car pileup near Bendigo.

Three people have been taken to hospital following a multi-car collision south of Bendigo on Friday afternoon.

Initial reports suggested three cars were involved in the pileup on Harcourt North Rd in Harcourt North about 2.20pm.

Occupants of the cars were able to get out their vehicles after the smash, a CFA spokeswoman said.

A woman in her 70s and a man in his 30s were taken to Bendigo Health with upper body injuries in stable conditions.

A woman in her 20s was also taken for observation.
