Manhunt for ‘erratic’ driver after wild Bendigo police chase
Police are hunting an “erratic” driver that nearly crashed into several eye witnesses during a wild police chase through Bendigo.

An “erratic” driver drove on the wrong side of the road and nearly cleaned up several people during a wild police chase through Bendigo.
Officers were called to reports of a dark coloured Mazda being driven recklessly through several streets in the Bendigo CBD about 10.15am on Wednesday
Police said the driver refused to stop and was speeding and driving onto footpaths.
Several eyewitnesses described the driver’s wild driving through several suburbs, with one person saying they saw “eight to 10” cars chasing it at one stage.
Another witness said they saw the car driving on the wrong side of Victoria St as police pursued it through Eaglehawk.
Several others said they were nearly hit by the driver as it fled police.
The driver dumped the car at Langston St and fled the scene.
The driver remains at large and the investigation is ongoing.
