A man has been stabbed after a late night dispute turned violent in Bendigo, with his attackers still on the run.

A group is on the run after a man was stabbed at a Bendigo home overnight.
The man was attacked by multiple offenders at a home on Llewellyn Court, California Gully, with police finding the victim bleeding about 10pm.
Police said the victim, a 39-year-old California Gully man, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A neighbour said she heard a commotion and one of the assailants threatened to kill a dog that lived at the address.
Police are now hunting for the group who are still on the run in the Bendigo area.
Five police cars responded to the incident, with uniformed officers and detectives searching the area with torches and interviewing the other residents of the property where the stabbing happened.
Police believe the victim and his attackers were known to each other.
