A 53-year-old man has been charged following a three-vehicle crash which left two people dead and three seriously injured in Horsham.
The cement truck driver allegedly smashed into a white Hyundai SUV which caused it to crash into a red Holden utility about 2.40pm, on October 8 last year.
A 79-year-old woman, travelling in the Hyundai, died at the Stawell Rd scene before a 78-year-old woman was taken to hospital and died a few days later.
Two other woman, aged 56 and 80, in the Hyundai and the 64-year-old female driver of the Holden were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The Horsham man was charged with two counts of dangerous driving causing death and three counts of dangerous driving causing serious injury.
He was bailed and is expected to appear at the Horsham Magistrates’ Court today.
