A woman who died in a horror Inglewood smash in the state’s northeast was a local, police reveal.

An Inglewood woman has been revealed as the victim of a horrific fatal crash northwest of Bendigo.
A Victoria Police spokesman said a 44-year-old woman was the driver and sole occupant of a maroon Toyota when it crashed while travelling north of Belmont St in Inglewood at 11pm Tuesday, April 13.
Emergency Services were called to the single-vehicle crash after it veered off the road and crashed into a tree but the woman later died at the scene.
Police are continuing their investigations and anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
