A man has been flown to hospital with life-threatening injuries after being trapped in his crashed car for hours.
The man’s ute was pulled from Bullock Creek in Yarraberb just before 2pm on Wednesday, nearly three hours after the car ran off Sebastian Road.
The man, who was the only person in the car, has been flown to hospital and police are investigating the cause of the accident.
CFA led the rescue operation with FRV and the SES assisting.
MAN TRAPPED AFTER CRASH
A man is fighting for his life after a crash in Yarraberb.
The man will be flown to hospital in a critical condition following a single-car accident on Sebastian Road near the Marong-Serpentine intersection about 11.20am on Wednesday.
SES volunteers confirmed the man is still trapped in his vehicle after it ran off the road into an embankment.
It is understood the car left the road near the Bullock Creek crossing and a high angle rescue is needed to free the man.
Police have closed the Marong-Serpentine intersection and will investigate the incident.
