Bendigo revellers have performed a citizen’s arrest on two accused crims who allegedly smashed a glass door of a Myers department store with a shopping trolley.

Bendigo revellers have performed a citizen’s arrest on two accused crims who allegedly smashed a glass door of a Myers department store with a shopping trolley.
The two alleged burglars had tried to enter Chatterbox Lounge without shoes, and were turned away about 12.30am on Sunday.
The two were then seen grabbing a shopping trolley and allegedly ramming it through the glass door of the Myers Department store at Hargreaves Mall.
Revellers at Chatter Box lounge who witnessed the incident performed a citizen arrest on one of the alleged offenders before police arrived.
Another fled into the store to hide, with police having to go inside to catch him.
A 24-year-old Traralgon man and a 25-year-old Mildura man have both been charged with burglary and were bailed to appear at Bendigo Magistrates’ Court in May.
