The circumstances surrounding the stabbing of a Bendigo man remain a mystery, with no charges laid.
Emergency services attended a unit complex on Bright St, Eaglehawk about 11.45pm Saturday after reports a man had been stabbed.
A man in his 40s was found with stab wounds to his lower and upper body.
He was flown to The Alfred in a serious but stable condition.
“Officers are yet to establish how the man obtained his injuries,” police said in a statement.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
