Le Tanh: Man charged after alleged $1m Bendigo cannabis bust
A Bendigo man has fronted court after police allegedly seized more than $1m of cannabis from a home in central Victoria.

A Bendigo man has faced court on serious drug offences after police allegedly seized more than $1m of cannabis from a central Victorian home.
Officers from the Central Victoria response unit raided a property on Eaglehawk Rd in California Gully on Thursday morning allegedly discovering the building was operating as a cannabis grow house.
Inside, police say they located a large quantity of plants and dried cannabis material.
Le Tanh, 27, appeared briefly in the Bendigo Magistrates’ Court on charges of cultivating cannabis, cannabis trafficking, possessing a substance to manufacture a drug of dependence, theft and resisting police.
He was assisted by a Vietnamese interpreter during the hearing.
Defence lawyer, Hassan Hamka, told the court this was his client’s first time in custody.
He was not required to enter pleas and no application for bail was made.
Mr Tanh was remanded into custody ahead of his next court appearance on August 17.
