A motorcyclist has been killed after their bike collided with a car in East Gippsland.
Emergency services were called to the crash on the Princes Hwy in Sale at 1.20pm on Saturday.
The rider, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
A police spokesperson said the driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene and was uninjured.
“The circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be established and the investigation is ongoing,” the police spokesperson said.
It has taken the state road death toll to three lives, compared to five lives lost on Victoria’s roads this time last year.
