Police investigating after two offenders threaten Drouin man with machete, demand car keys and approach Warragul woman in vehicle
A Drouin man has been injured after two thieves demanded his car keys and threatened him with a machete.

Police are investigating after two thieves — one armed with a machete — injured a man, stole his vehicle and rammed it into a police car in Gippsland.
The two offenders approached the 27-year-old Drouin man on Trumpy Lane in Warragul at 10.10pm on Tuesday.
A police spokesperson said the pair demanded the man’s car keys and he sustained minor injuries as a result.
“The two male offenders also approached a 19-year-old Warragul woman in another vehicle nearby,” the spokesperson said.
The woman was not injured but her windscreen was smashed with the machete.
The spokesperson said the offenders fled the scene in the man’s car, which was found a short time later in Narracan Dr in Moe, when the driver of the stolen vehicle rammed a police car and fled again.
“The two police members inside the vehicle were not injured,” the spokesperson said.
“The car was later located burnt out on Graduation Place in Churchill.
One of the men was described as caucasian in his early 20s, 170cm with hand tattoos wearing a dark hooded jumper, dark pants and dark Nike TNs.
The second man was described as Indigenous, in his early 20s, with a large build, dark hair and wearing a dark hooded jumper.
