One dead in car vs tree crash near Latrobe Valley primary school

A man has died after a crash near a primary school just outside of Moe.

A man has lost his life following a crash in Tanjil South on Monday afternoon.

It is understood a man was driving south along Moe-Willow Grove Rd, near Tanjil South Primary School when his vehicle struck a tree just before 11.50am.

Paramedics worked on the man on the scene but he unfortunately died.

He was the only occupant inside the vehicle.

Police are continuing to establish the exact circumstances of the collision and investigations are ongoing.
