A male has been arrested following a 15-person brawl involving youths inside a shopping centre in the Latrobe Valley.
The melee took place at the Midvalley Shopping Centre on Centre Valley Rd in Morwell just before 2.30pm on Thursday.
“Police seized a number of weapons which may have been used during the incident,” a police spokesperson said.

The spokesperson said no one else came forward with any further injuries.
About five police cars attended the scene.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are being investigated.
A Midvalley Shopping Centre spokesperson said in a statement the youths were known to each other and the fight appeared to be an organised confrontation rather than a random incident.
“Police attended quickly and the situation de-escalated in a matter of minutes,” the centre spokesperson said.
“We are working closely with local law enforcement in ongoing investigations and assure customers that anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated.
“Our customers and staff safety is of utmost importance and we will take action to ensure that our shopping centre continues to be safe and family friendly.”
