A Cowes man has died in hospital almost a week after his vehicle rolled over near a busy roundabout on Phillip Island.

A Cowes man has died in hospital after a single car rollover in the state’s southeast.
The 77-year-old driver was travelling along Thompson Ave at the intersection of Cowes-Rhyll Rd when his vehicle left the road and hit a tree, causing it to flip onto its side about 11am on October 31.
The man was freed from the vehicle by the SES and flown to hospital with serious injuries.
CFA crews also attended to assist.
Police investigated the circumstances surrounding the crash and an officer confirmed on Monday the man died in hospital on Sunday night.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
Cowes-Rhyll Rd was closed off and police remained on scene to direct traffic last week.
The incident takes the road death toll toll to 244, compared to 209 lives lost this time last year.
