Showers are more likely on Tuesday when the Bureau of Meteorology forecasts a medium (50 per cent) chance of rain.
The UV index is predicted to be 9. There is a very high risk of harm from sun exposure. Skin can be damaged and burn quickly in today’s conditions. Experts suggest avoiding sun exposure around noon and keeping to the shade. General advice is to use eye protection, sunscreen and cover up.
Winds will be south around 4 km/h in the morning shifting to south-southwest around 8 km/h in the afternoon.
