Two brothers who caused injury to another person at a Gippsland property have faced court over their offending.

Daniel Cooper, 44, and Jarryd Cooper, 31, pleaded guilty at Latrobe Valley Magistrates on Monday, April 12 to one charge each of intentionally causing injury.

Court documents obtained by The Bass Coast News reveal the Cooper brothers did without lawful excuse, intentionally cause injury to another person in Nyora on July 3, 2019.

Daniel Cooper’s lawyer James Anderson said the man had “significant medical health problems”.

“He is on a number of medications.”

Jarryd Cooper was represented by his lawyer Anthony Pyne.

The matter was adjourned to Latrobe Valley Magistrates’ Court on June 11.
