Child flown to Royal Children’s Hospital after falling from boat at The Esplanade in Corinella

A child has been flown to hospital after they fell from a boat into Bass Coast waters.

A child has been flown to hospital after they fell from a boat into Bass Coast waters.

Paramedics were called to the scene at The Esplanade near the jetty in Corinella just before midday Wednesday.

An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said the child was treated for upper body injuries and was flown to the Royal Children’s Hospital in a stable condition.

“Emergency services remain on scene,” the spokeswoman said.
