When it comes to health and fitness in the Bass Coast, locals don’t shy away from making known their favourite personal trainers.
But when it comes to the best, readers couldn’t split Charlotte Bolding and Lisa McLure, who have tied as the Bass Coast’s best. Here’s why:
CHARLOTTE BOLDING
Charlotte Bolding began her career in the fitness industry in 2011 before pursuing her passion for CrossFit and becoming a coach in 2017.
Ms Bolding believes her practice is more than just a job — it’s her passion.
“My clients are my top priority and their successes are my life’s work,” she said.
“I love to lead people with my knowledge, professionalism and my experience to make them the healthiest therefore the most robust and resilient people they can be”.
Ms Bolding believes her approach to health, sets her apart from other personal trainers.
“I coach people on the five factors of health including sleep, nutrition, exercise, mindset and relationships,” she said.
“This is how I believe I help people become stronger, healthier and more resilient”.
Her clients describe her as passionate, enthusiastic and a dedicated athlete with an unwavering commitment to changing lives.
LISA MCLURE
Lisa McLure has been training clients for five years after getting her start as a Body Combat instructor for the YMCA Victoria.
She than got her Certificate IV in Personal Training followed up by a Master Functional Trainers Course through FTI.
Ms McLure says she loves making people feel happy and healthy.
“It’s great making people feel good about themselves inside and out,” she said.
“Seeing my clients and staying connected with them outside of their sessions, watching them grow personally, makes me love my job”.
Ms McLure is best described by her clients as fun, attentive, caring and a little crazy.
“I couldn’t ask for a better community to be part of,” she said.
“Love your job and you never work a day in your life”.
She also works as a hairdresser at Elements Hair Room in Cowes.
“You could say it’s a full service some days!”
