A young woman fell 30m down an embankment after she tried to escape her vehicle when it rolled over an embankment on the Bass Coast.

A young woman fell 30m down an embankment after she tried to escape her vehicle when it rolled over an embankment on the Bass Coast on Monday.

Emergency services responded to the crash on Dalyston-Glen Forbes Road in Glen Forbes about 7.15am after reports a vehicle had crashed and rolled down an embankment.

The sole occupant, a 22-year-old Cardinia woman managed to climb out of the vehicle but she fell a further 30m down before being pulled to safety by high angle rescue crews.

She was taken to hospital in Dandenong.
