The 142nd Bairnsdale Show took place this weekend.
Gates opened at the Bairnsdale Racecourse from 9am on Saturday, with a full day of agricultural action including horse events and animal attractions.
Guests also enjoyed amusement rides and food vans.
The town’s weather on Saturday reached almost 30C.
Bairnsdale Show president Dallas Golby said there would be a variety of activities.
“We’ve got Emiliqua East who is a previous whip cracking champion doing whip cracking demonstrations and teaching kids how to crack stop whips,” Ms Golby said.
“We’ve got wood chops, standing blocks, cross cut saws, hot saws and all the market stalls.
“There will be alpacas, goats and a rare endangered breed of sheep.”
Ms Golby said there would be live music all day broken only by a minute of silence at 11am for Remembrance Day.
She said she was expecting a lot of people to attend the show.
“The horse section on Sunday will have more horses than we’ve had for many, many years,” Ms Golby said.
“There’ll be vintage cars, speedway cars and one of the car dealers is bringing over new cars and we’ve got our pie eating competition.”
The Herald Sun attended the show to take photos of everyone having a relaxing day out.
