Rock climber injured after falling from Mount Arapiles

It is believed the man fell 5m down a Mount Arapiles cliff face, in an area popular with rock climbers.

New rules set to impact Grampians National Park

A rock climber is being treated by paramedics after reportedly falling from a mountain in western Victoria.

Emergency services were called to Mount Arapiles about 1pm on Tuesday to reports a male climber had fallen five meters.

Paramedics are currently at the scene, where they are assessing one patient.

Ambulance Victoria confirmed he was being transported to hospital in an air ambulance.

He has sustained upper body injuries but are in a stable condition.
