A woman drove to a police station in an allegedly stolen luxury car, before handing herself and the car keys in.
The car, a 2015 Mercedes SK35, was believed to have been stolen in an aggravated burglary in Kennington earlier this month.
The 34-year-old woman was one of four people arrested by the Western Region Crime Squad after an alleged series of violent aggravated home invasions across Bendigo and Ballarat.
Police located a man, woman and teenager at a Sutton St, Maryborough property on Tuesday afternoon just before 3pm on Tuesday.
Later that day, the Mercedes driver handed herself in.
The arrests followed investigations into four aggravated home invasions this month, including at Carisbrook, Golden Square, Sebastopol and Clunes.
Police then conducted a search of the Maryborough property under firearm prohibition order provisions.
They allegedly uncovered a .223 bolt action rifle with scope, an imitation Glock-style handgun, a quantity of ammunition, stolen registration plates and an axe.
An allegedly stolen Kia Optima was also seized.
Police allege it was stolen from an aggravated burglary in Tootgarook, near Rye earlier this month.
A 34-year-old woman and 26-year-old man, both of no fixed address, have been charged with four counts of aggravated home invasion, kidnapping and firearm offences.
A 26-year-old Maryborough woman was charged with three counts of aggravated burglary, and a 17-year-old boy was charged with one count.
The adults were remanded to appear at Bendigo Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday while the teenager will appear before a children’s court.
