A man was seriously injured after being hit by a truck northeast of Ballarat on Tuesday morning.
Paramedics and police were called to a collision on Pipers Creek Rd in Kyneton about 7am, where officers were told a light tray truck hit a pedestrian.
The truck driver stopped to help, police said.
The 48-year-old pedestrian suffered upper and lower body injuries and was flown to The Alfred in a serious condition.
