Brent Maciejewski found dead on Otway St South in Ballarat East

Friends of a man whose body was discovered at the weekend have left tributes at the man’s “resting place” in Ballarat East.

A man found dead on a Ballarat street on Saturday night has been identified as 32-year-old Brent Maciejewski.

Emergency services attended the scene on Otway St South in Ballarat East about 9.20pm.

It’s understood a passer-by initially noticed the Alfredton man, but the circumstances of his death are unknown.

Police are investigating and await the results of a post-mortem.

In the days following, friends took to social media to send off Mr Maciejewski and left tributes and flowers where he was found.
