From part time riders to those wanting to emulate the stars of Australian cycling on the road, the Gran Fondo had it all. Here are all the photos from the day.

They might not be the next Caleb Ewan or Michael Matthews but riders from around the state and country showed they can complete the Road Nationals racecourse in Ballarat as well.
Hundreds of riders gathered on Saturday night for the Gran Fondo, which gave riders the chance to complete five laps of the same course used in the road race to determine the men’s and women’s champion.
Some impressed while for most just completing the event and climbing Mount Buninyong successfully was the goal.
Angus Sutherland was the best overall, completing the course in just over 94 minutes, winning a sprint finish at the end.
The Road Nationals continued on Sunday with Luke Plapp and Brodie Chapman winning the respective elite races.
The championships conclude on Tuesday with the elite time trial around Mount Helen for men and women.
