Emergency services caution towns surrounding Creswick as contained fire continues to burn
A bushfire that broke at Creswick on Monday and drew more than 300 firefighters to the blaze continues to burn within containment lines.

Communities northeast of Ballarat have been warned to stay cautious as a bushfire continues to burn at Creswick.
Emergency services issued an advice message at midday on Friday for Cabbage Tree, Chapel Flat, Clarkes Hill, Dean, Glen Park, Springmount, and Wattle Flat.
While the blaze on Melbourne Rd, which broke out on Monday afternoon, is under control, “low level fire activity” continues within containment lines.
About 200h have been burnt, with smoke visible and 15 firefighters working at the scene.
All roads remain open, though 40km/h limits have been imposed on parts of Creswick-Dean Rd and Melbourne Rd.
On Monday, more than 50 Forest Fire Management Victoria and CFA units rushed to the scene, where 300 firefighters worked alongside by five water aircraft and three large air tankers.
Further west, a bushfire at the Grampians remains out of control, with neighbouring communities warned to stay on high alert.
More than 7600h burnt by that fire, which emergency services said could burn for weeks.
