A driver has been killed after their car hit a tree and burst into flames in central Victoria.
Police said a car was travelling along Daylesford-Malmsbury Rd in Denver, about 15km from Daylesford, before it lost control, crashed into a tree and caught fire about 12.05am Thursday.
The driver and sole occupant of the car, who is yet to identified, died at the scene.
The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be determined and investigations remain ongoing.
