Arson chemist, detectives en route to Cobram after elderly man found dead
Explosive squad detectives are investigating a blaze in northern Victoria after a man’s body was found inside a Cobram home.

An arson chemist and specialist detectives are en route to a Cobram home following the discovery of a deceased elderly man last night.
Police officers were called to the Toms Drive property after the 91-year-old was found dead around 6.15pm.
A police spokesperson said investigators were en route to conduct an investigation due to evidence of a fire at the home.
The fire had burnt out before emergency services arrived.
Arson and explosives squad detectives and an arson chemist will attend the home today.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
