Wodonga’s Casey Ferrara and Skye McGuire charged with drug trafficking
A Wodonga duo have been charged with trafficking ice and GHB after police raids on a hotel room allegedly seized a massive haul of gear.

A Wodonga duo have been charged with high-level drug trafficking after a police raid on a hotel room allegedly unearthed a stash of class-A drugs.
Skye McGuire, 29, and Casey Ferrara, 29, fronted the Wangaratta Magistrates’ Court on November 21 for a filing hearing after the two were charged with drug trafficking.
It is alleged the duo were drug trafficking in Wangaratta on November 18 when police raided a hotel room they were in.
Police allegedly seized 87g of meth and a “significantly more than commercial” amount of GHB.
They have also been charged with stealing a black Maserati sedan with NSW plates valued at $40,000, as well as dealing with proceeds of crime and undertaking in the retention of stolen goods.
Ms McGuire was also allegedly found in possession of knuckledusters, and both charged with possessing illicit drugs.
Mr Ferrara faces separate charges of stealing a white Subaru sedan registration plate valued at $50,000 at Springhurst on October 12.
It is alleged Mr Ferrara drove dangerously, placing the public’s life in death on that same date.
Mr Ferrara was allegedly going at speeds of 200km/h and Magistrate Megan Casey told the court “the fact that he’s here at all is nothing short of a miracle”.
Ms McGuire was granted bail on strict conditions while Mr Ferrara will remain in custody.
Ms Casey told the court she had “no confidence that he is ready to reflect on his past behaviour”.
The duo will face a committal mention on March 6.
