Vigilante releases cats from Albury Wodonga pound
Police are on the hunt for a person who broke into the Albury pound, unlocking cages and releasing animals on Wednesday night.

Security has been tightened at the Albury pound after the centre was broken into and eight cats released on Wednesday night.
An unknown person broke into the cattery at the Albury Animal Care Centre in Lavington and unlocked the cages of eight cats between 8pm on June 9 and 8am on June 10.
AACC staff noticed the break-in at 8am on Thursday morning and notified police.
An investigation is underway, and police are calling for anyone with information to contact Crimestoppers.
The AACC is still searching for the cats. It is not clear whether they were stolen or let out.
