These are the top performing NAPLAN schools in the Riverina region

The Riverina schools which performed best in the 2022 NAPLAN tests have been revealed. Find out which school topped the list.

An independent analysis of newly-released 2022 NAPLAN results has revealed the schools which performed the best in the Grade 5 and Year 9 tests.

To determine how each school performed in 2022, the scores for all five test subjects for the student cohort in Grade 5 and Year 9 were combined and the average found.

Saint Mary MacKillop College Albury and St Peter‘s Primary School are Riverina’s top performing NAPLAN schools.

St Peter‘s Primary School, in Coleambally, had better primary results than any other school in Riverina, scoring an average of 526.4 across the five test subjects.

South Wagga Public School in Wagga Wagga was the second best for the region with an average score of 524.2, while McAuley Catholic Central School in Tumut was the third best with an average score of 522.8.

The top performing secondary school was Saint Mary MacKillop College Albury, in Jindera, with the average result was 613.8.

Ungarie Central School in Ungarie was the second best for the region with an average score of 606.0, while The Riverina Anglican College in Wagga Wagga was the third best with an average score of 603.4.
