The Albury Wodonga News has compiled a list of the most impressive homes that have sold for more than $1m in the last financial year.
Here they are:
2668 Riverina Hwy, Splitters Creek — $2,425,000
The Riverina Hwy mansion was sold for $2.425 million on October 27 2020 by Lachlan Hutchins at Stean Nicholls.
Based on two hectares, this five bedroom, two bathroom home exudes architectural grandeur with a warm colour scheme and wide patterned cornicing and architraves, 11-foot-high ceilings (20-foot-high ceilings in the living room), timber sash windows and West Australian Jarrah floors.
473 Townsend St, Albury — $1.7 million
One of the most sought-after properties in the region, this four bedroom home was once a bank operating in the heart of Albury’s business district.
Packed with history, the building was commissioned by the Bank of NSW in 1856.
It has been owned by many including NSW Premier and Federal Treasurer Sir William Lye.

The property was sold for $1.7 million on December 11 by Marty Clark at Que Property Group.
