A Wodonga retail assistant handed over cash as a man threatened her with a firearm

One man, armed with a gun, approached a staff member in a Wodonga store and demanded cash while another stood guard at the door.

Armed robber gets away with cash

Two men, one armed with a firearm, walked into a store in Wodonga and demanded cash in a frightening armed robbery.

It is believed the men entered the Moorefield Park Drive premise about 9.15pm on August 8.

One man stood guard at the entry while the other approached the counter and showed the worker his gun.

She then went to the tills and placed the cash on the bench before the man pocketed the cash and walked away.

CCTV footage has been released which shows the encounter, as investigators hope the public can help identify the men.

One man, described as caucasian, was dressed in a peaked cap, a black and white hooded jumper, blue jeans and grey shoes.

The second man, also caucasian, was dressed in a dark Everlast cap, a black and red flannelette shirt, blue jeans and blue runners.
