A Maddingley woman who crashed her car into a pole and tree in Sydenham last month has died in hospital.

The 64-year-old woman crashed into a pole, then hit a tree while driving south on Overton Lea Boulevard, between Chittenup Bend and Pecks Rd, about 8.10am on January 31.

The woman, was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries, where she died on Sunday, February 12.

Anyone who witnessed the crash, has dashcam/CCTV footage or information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report online at crimestoppersvic.com.au.
