UBER WAG Lauren Phillips is heading up to Sydney to finalise her Brownlow dress.

The Myer ambassador and face of Nicola Finetti is wearing a showstopper from the label, which she can't wait to unveil.

"It's very different to anything I've worn before," she said.

"I'll be excited to wear it and it should be a good night."

Phillips said partner Gary Ablett had a "great year and I think he should win".

She was one of few WAGs who turned out at the AFL Players' Association's Most Valuable Player Award at Crown on Monday night.

Collingwood captain Nick Maxwell arrived with teammate and MVP nominee Scott Pendlebury, who was incorrectly named as Sharrod Wellingham in our social snaps.

Pendlebury could see the funny side of the error, yesterday tweeting how Wellingham had never looked better.
