What stars will be wearing on the 2014 Logie Awards red carpet

WHO cares who takes home a Logie tonight, what really matters is who is wearing what.

Well before the TV A-team hits the red carpet at the Crown Palladium in Melbourne tonight, here’s your Logie Awards fashion cheat sheet.

There will be frocks. And lots of them. Expect to see lots of solid colours — no prissy patterns or florals — with white, red, black and nude the four hues to take popularity honours.

• Today Show host Lisa Wilkinson will be swathed in sparkling Cerrone jewels and diamonds — the same goes for Sonia Kruger, Kate Richie and Abby Earl.

• Designer Steven Khalil caught Logies fever months ago. He dressed Jesinta Campbell in a custom-made piece with imported Italian wool as well as Paula Abdul and Kate Ritchie in a soft dress that flowed over her baby bump.

• Cassie Howarth (from Home & Away) will be in gold and red Khalil while Rebecca Gibney is going to be unleashing an entire new look.

• Retailer Myer is sponsoring the televised red carpet part of the night — so you will be hard pressed to see any celeb wearing anything that isn’t from the big M shops.

• Myer ambassador Lauren Phillips and Myer designer Aurelio Costarella will cast their eyes over what they see including the Arthur Galan dressed MTV chick Kate Peck, Andy Lee, Hamish Blake, Jules Lund and Manu Feildel.

• Aurelio Costarella will swath Lauren Phillips and Laura Dundovic in his threads.

• The Seven Network’s Sam Armytage, Edwina Bartholomew and Rebecca Madder are all in Leah De Gloria — a protégée of Steven Khalil and a Project Runway star.

• Brent Wilson has the plumb job of dressing the divine Seven host Kris Smith.

• Charlie Brown will dress Tracey Grimshaw and Deborah Mailman while Dom Bagnato has suited up Logie favourite and The Block bloke, Scott Cam.

• Toni Maticevski — the designer who shone at Australian Fashion week — will dress Jennifer Hawkins, Claudia Karvan, Isabelle Cornish and Kat Stewart.

• Paolo Sebastian is dressing Kylie Gillies and Danni Minogue while Natalie Barr will shine in Carla Zampatti.

• Pallas Couture is responsible for a whole lot of Logies love too, dressing Anna Bamford from Wonderland on the Network Ten; Gracie Gilbert from Love Child on Nine Network as well as Lisa Wilkinson. Pallas is also dressing Natarsha Belling from Wake Up, Natalie Saleeba from House Husbands and Kim Owen a former contestant from The Block.
