Tiffany Wood has shared her personal experience with cosmetic surgery after embarking on a raw post motherhood body journey.
Wood, the wife of retired Bulldogs premiership captain Easton Wood, has undergone a breast lift and fat transfer procedure in Brisbane after 10 months of cancellations due to Covid.
“I’m no sex kitten, it’s not my style to be sexy, but I did want my boobs back,’’ Wood said.
“They were so drained because of all the weight change through pregnancy and my life.
“So fat transfer appealed to me as more natural.
“I am gobsmacked with the incredible results, even though I’m sore and swollen, but think it’s important I share it because we all need to be careful what we see and consume in the media in the post partum space.
“Transparency is key and it’s not for everyone … but it’s definitely something I’ve wanted a really long time and after breastfeeding two beautiful babies felt it was finally time to get it done.”
Tiffany and Easton have a daughter, Matilda, 2, and a son, Frederick, born in November.
She runs a successful content marketing consulting agency called Social Co and started a new swimwear line while in the Queensland footy hub in 2020.
Wood also revealed she had consulted with a life coach, Emily Swaffield, after feeling she was “spiralling”.
“I have two beautiful kids that I pinch myself every day with gratitude for,’’ Wood said.
“It’s quite lonely and scary planning it … the business was booming and my head was scattered and she came in and organised the chaos.”
Wood said the procedure cost between $15-$20,000 and she had originally considered breast implants.
“The more I spoke with the surgeon, the more I realise that I had more options than that,’’ she said.
“And that was really eye-opening. I spent a good year researching and talking to a series of different surgeons to find the one that I fit with, that was a good price.
“Implants would really look amazing don’t get me wrong, but I just don’t really like the idea of having something foreign in my body like that if I don’t have to.”
