Travis Kelce reveals more details about his romance with Taylor Swift

NFL player Travis Kelce has revealed what he still doesn’t know about his girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

Travis and his brother Jason co-host a weekly podcast called New Heights, where they discuss sports and occasionally their personal lives.

The podcast has always been successful, but it has truly taken off now that fans can tune in to learn more about Travis and Taylor’s romance.

Travis and Taylor started dating in late July 2023, just after he called the singer out for not being able to meet him at one of her shows.

In early July 2023, he attended one of her shows on her sold-out Eras tour, which is over three hours long.

He wanted to give her a friendship bracelet with his number on it but Taylor never met with him because she needs to rest her voice after such a rigorous show.

Afterwards, he went on his podcast and shared that he was upset that he didn’t get a chance to shoot his shot.

“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs she sings. If you’re up on Taylor Swift concerts, there are friendship bracelets and I had received a bunch of them, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it,” he said.

Swift heard him talk about it on his podcast and called his honesty in an interview with The Times “metal as hell”.

While the rest of the details remain a mystery, the two were dating by late July, and Swift spent the rest of the NFL season cheering Travis and his team, The Chiefs, on.

The Chiefs, of course, won the Super Bowl, and Swift continued touring with Travis. He even ended up flying to Australia to see her perform.

Their romance has become a cultural moment and Travis has shed some more light on the situation.

The podcast had guest rapper and comedian Lil Dicky on the show this week and he praised the famous couple.

“I think there’s just something that makes everyone feel like the world is kind of like high school, where your most popular pop star beloved musician somehow how met your most popular beloved athlete and they actually fell in love, and it’s just real. Anyone who hates on it is a bitter loser,” he said.

“I don’t know how I did it because she wasn’t into sports, so I don’t know how the f**k I did it,” Travis joked back.

Lil Dicky then pointed out he pulled it off by “calling her out” on his podcast, and Travis laughed in agreement.

“No, I know exactly how I did it,” he said.

Travis also shared that he was currently having a “blast in life” and was currently “flying high” and just trying to enjoy the moment.
