Is he ready for it? Travis Kelce’s comments spark engagement and baby rumours with superstar girlfriend Taylor Swift.

Swifty fans have been sent into overdrive after Travis Kelce fuelled engagement and baby rumours with Taylor Swift while on his podcast with his brother.

The Kansas City Chiefs star went viral after discussing the topic of marriage on the New Heights podcast, which he co-hosts with his 36-year-old brother Jason, who just retired from NFL.

“You can’t tell me that dude wasn’t made in a f–king lab over there in France,” Kelce said, referring to NBA star Victor Wembanyama, who is over 7 feet tall.

“Lab-grown diamonds, that’s a lab-grown f–king NBA player. Can’t wait til I f–kin’ make one,.”

Kelce was quickly interrupted by his older brother who pleaded with him to stop the conversation before he caused “conspiracy theories” to emerge.

“Don’t do this. Do not give any of these other conspiracy theorists anything else to latch onto, please,” Jason said.

But that didn’t stop fans from taking to social media to react over Kelce’s comments.

“This will get people to tune in that’s all I think this is if they we’re engaged or getting engaged I think Jason would be the one to hint at it not Travis also I really think it would be a family ring or vintage ring not a new ring,” one said.

Another added: “Mini me in coming [sic].”

“Before he was begging for a date and now he was begging for a baby,” wrote a third.

However, some fans warned the Swifies not to take Kelce’s comments seriously as he’s known to joke with his brother on their show.

“You guys need to understand that they joke a lot in this podcast pls don’t take it seriously,” one person tweeted on X.

Page Six reported earlier this year that Kelce is planning to propose to Swift in a few months.

“Taylor and Travis discussed it and there is a plan,” an insider told the outlet.

“They will get engaged on their one-year anniversary in July.”

KELCE’S $12M SPEND ON SWIFT

Travis Kelce is believed to have splashed out a staggering $US8 million ($A12.2 million) since he began dating pop sensation Taylor Swift six months ago.

Kelce and Swift were spotted at the ultra-exclusive Bird Streets Club in West Hollywood on the weekend, a source told The New York Post, where members such as Leonardo DiCaprio and Timothée Chalamet pay $15,000 a year.

One expert told The Post that Kelce’s trip to see Swift in Singapore on March 8 could have cost nearly $872,000.

It was just one of three private jet journeys Kelce has taken to catch up with the singer since their relationship went public last September.

“Travis Kelce always comes to play — not just on the field, but in his everyday romance with Taylor Swift — sparing no expense,” pop culture lifestyle expert Valerie Greenberg told The Post. “He isn’t afraid to open his heart and his wallet.”

Kelce, 34, is in the third year of a four-year contract worth $87.5 million, making him the fourth-highest-paid tight end in the NFL, according to USA Today.

He earns far less than his girlfriend, who is worth an estimated $1.5 billion.

The New York Post estimated that Kelce’s Valentine’s Day gifts alone cost more than $20,000, with Swift receiving a $4500 ornament from the Daum French crystal company.

He also bought her two boxes of 250 roses, costing more than $3000, a Hermes scarf, Bottega Veneta handbag and a Dior beret.

REAL ESTATE: $6 MILLION (AUD$9M)

In October, Kelce threw down $6 million for a 1579-square-metre mansion, hidden behind a gate, in the Kansas City suburb of Leawood.

Kelce reportedly bought a multimillion-dollar mansion in Kansas after his former house became a “mini tourist attraction.”

The 34-year-old previously purchased a seven-bedroom home in Kansas City in 2019 for $1.5 million.

“Leawood is one of the top 50 wealthiest towns in the US. It’s an upscale, private neighbourhood … You have a lot of privacy and security compared to where he was before,” Corcoran real estate agent Amanda Baum told The Post.

The property features a garage with a space for six cars, a wine cellar, a pool and a to-level cinema room.

Kelce, 34, is in the third year of a four-year contract worth $57.25 million (AUD$87.5m)— making him the fourth-highest-paid tight end in the NFL, according to USA Today.

PRIVATE JET EXCURSIONS: $1.2 MILLION (AUD$1.8M)

In November, Kelce flew private on a Friday to see Swift perform in Argentina — and flew back in time for a Monday practice, Page Six reported.

Partner and aviation specialist at Cirrus Aviation Services Michael Giordano confirmed that the trip would have cost around $458,000.

“There are a number of variable costs … but around $300,000 would be the approximate charge to charter a 10-seat private jet to fly from the US to an international destination round trip,” Richard Levy, a Dallas-based aviation expert and consultant who previously worked as a captain for a major US international airline, told The Post.

Days after his Super Bowl win, Kelce reportedly flew from LA to Hawaii, then touched down in Sydney on February 21 to join Swift during a tour stop at Accor Stadium. The estimated cost was around $520,000 for a 10-seat jet.

On March 7, Kelce arrived in Singapore to catch Swift’s tour — flying out of his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio, with a group of pals.

The 19-hour excursion, plus a refuelling stop in Dubai, would have cost around $871,000 for a 10-seat plane, according to estimates confirmed by Mr Giordano. Though it’s possible that Swift gave him a seat on her own jet for some of the international legs.

SUPER BOWL SUITE: $1 MILLION (AUD$1.5M)

The NFL’s star player reportedly spent more than $1.5 million on a Super Bowl suite for Swift, her parents, Andrea and Scott, her brother and his girlfriend, pals including Ice Spice and Blake Lively, as well as Kelce’s parents and his brother Jason and sister-in-law Kylie.

At the time, Kelce said on his podcast that he was “counting how much money I’m spending on this damn Super Bowl for family and friends to come. Just making sure I’m on top of those finances and losing all this money.”
