The family of Johnny Ruffo have taken to Instagram to announce a memorial for the late entertainer that will be held in Perth.
The memorial is scheduled for Saturday, November 25 with more information to come regarding time and venue.
Ruffo passed away on Friday at the age of 35 after a six-year battle with brain cancer surrounded by family and with longtime partner Tahnee Sims by his side.
The entertainer first rose to fame on The X Factor in 2011 finishing third, before winning Dancing with the Stars in 2012, followed by a stint on Home and Away.
After first being diagnosed in 2017 and having surgery to remove a tumour, Ruffo announced his cancer was in remission in 2019.
Unfortunately, the singer and actor announced that the cancer had returned, via his Instagram, just a year later.
“After an unexpected week of seizures and excruciating headaches it is with a heavy heart that I have to let you know I now have another huge battle ahead of me,” he said.
“My brain cancer has returned, though I will dig deep and beat this shit disease again.”

“We all love you Johnny and will remember you for all the joy you brought to our lives. Rest easy.”
