Superstar Ricky Martin tours Australia in November and he’s bringing another Voice coach with him

After a long absence from our stages, Ricky Martin returns to tour in November and he’s booked another former Voice coach to open his shows.

The last time Latin pop heartthrob Ricky Martin toured Australia, he was the favourite coach on The Voice Australia.

It was 10 years ago, and the “She Bangs” superstar’s stocks were flying high here, courtesy of that swoonworthy charm in the red chair, his collection of bangers and that bangin’ dance bod.

Before the final of his three seasons on the Voice in 2015, The Seducer, as fellow coach Will.i.am nicknamed him, kicked his One World tour off in Australia in April.

He finally returns a decade later to the same east coast arenas he played in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane during that 2015 tour, plus a stadium show in Canberra.

And he’s bringing another Voice coach Rita Ora with him to open his shows.

The Ricky Martin Live 2025 tour will open at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on November 1 and then heads to the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on November 6, GIO Stadium in Canberra on November 8 and Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on November 10.

“Australia holds a special place in my heart. The warmth and energy of the fans there are incredible, and I can’t wait to share music and memories with all of you this November,” he said in the tour announcement.

Since his last visit to Australia, Martin has remained a fixture on the American Latin pop charts and won acclaim for his acting roles in the television series The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story and Palm Royale.

The 53-year-old performer has also raised four children, twins Matteo and Valentino, son Renn and daughter Lucia.

Martin has sold more than 90 million records worldwide and enjoyed global success with hits including Livin’ La Vida Loca, The Cup of Life and Maria.

The first tickets for the tour are available via a Telstra Plus member pre-sale from 10am on April 2 while general public tickets go on sale from Ticketek from noon on April 8.
