BELINDA was a very courageous woman who was an inspiration to all and a very strong woman who will be remembered for her fighting spirit and her positive outlook on life. I am very saddened by the news and she will be in my prayers.

Anastasia Fantini

I WAS visiting my mother and husband at the cemetery when I heard the news. So tragic, someone so young and beautiful. God bless. I'm sure he will. Deepest sympathy to the family.

Heather Paszkowski, Doveton

WHAT a brave, strong, inspirational lady. May she rest in peace. All of my sympathy goes out to her family, husband and friends.

Sally, London

MY heart goes out to Rove, their family and friends. The amazing love Rove and Belinda shared just makes this so much more difficult to accept.

Cheryl de Beyer, Perth

NO words can describe the sorrow and loss that Rove and family are going through, but just remember that Australia is behind you through this difficult time.

Lisa N, Melbourne

I'M still in shock. Deepest sympathy to Rove and the McManus and Emmett families. Rest in peace, beautiful lady.

Lesley Giles-Kontjonis, Preston

SUCH a wonderful, inspiring Australian who we can all be proud of taken far too young. Deepest sympathy from across the world to her loved ones.

Emma, Scotland

BELINDA was always a ray of light when she appeared on our screens and never more so than when interviewed by her then boyfriend (later devoted hubby), Rove. Absolutely terrible, but Belinda's work for others will live forever.

Darren and Andrew, central Victoria

BELINDA you are so beautiful. I have witnessed this horrible disease through my mother. You're such a brave woman and your family is so courageous too. I hope Rove, your parents and family are OK. My thoughts with you all.

Adam Straughen, Parkdale

AS a young woman fighting secondary breast cancer, it has once again brought home to me how precious life is. Enjoy every day to the fullest. Love life, your family and friends and don't take anything for granted. Life is a gift to enjoy, no matter how short. It is how you live your life not how long you live. Belinda, you were a beautiful human being, an inspiration to so many. You fought so hard to the end. It is now time to rest.

Judy McClelland, Blackburn Nth

TO Rove and the Emmett family, my deepest sympathy at this very sad time. While I never knew you both, your love for each other was so so evident from all that you said and did and you were an inspiration to us all. I cannot imagine how you are feeling but wanted to express my deepest sympathy to you all. May Belinda rest in peace for eternity.

Diane Clark and family, Essendon

ALTHOUGH I only saw her in Home and Away eight years ago, Belinda did bring a warmth to the screen that will be sadly missed.

Paul Ward, Canberra

IT is with great sadness Australia has lost one of the most talented and finest all-round performers. Such a bright and enthusiastic person.

Daniel Curran, London

TO lose someone as young as Belinda Emmett to breast cancer is so tragic.

It just goes to show that such an illness can strike a woman at any age. My deepest sympathy to Belinda's husband Rove, their families and friends. I do support the Breast Cancer Foundation and will buy another pink ribbon in memory of Belinda.

Jennie Dunne, East Geelong

TODAY I heard the sad news that a beautiful lady had started her journey to eternity. What a lady. Belinda had such a short life but I feel it was filled with love. Rove, my husband and I would like to say we could feel the love you had for your beautiful lady. You now have your own special angel.

Lori McLean, Melbourne

SHE was a beautiful girl with a golden heart and a gorgeous smile. May your soul rest in peace, Belinda, and keep smiling from up above.

Mandy Csendes, Melbourne
