Orange Is The New Black season four trailer debuts

THE latest trailer for Orange Is The New Black just dropped and things are looking less than cheery for our favourite characters.

“Yeah, I don’t know about this ...”

WHEN we last saw the women of Litchfield, they were enjoying a rare moment of unadulterated joy — splashing and floating in the lake, having a rollicking good time.

What they didn’t know in that moment was their little corner of the world was about to be completely up-ended under the new regime of the for-profit company who took over the prison.

As they blissfully splashed around in the murky baptismal water, MMR (the corporate overlords) were having bunk beds installed in the sleeping quarters and a whole slew of new inmates were lining up to disrupt the existing order.

The impact of these 100 new prisoners, including a famous Martha Stewart-esque celeb, is what one character refers to as “sardine time”. Charming.

The first full-length trailer has just dropped and it gives fans a bigger tease on what to expect when season four returns to our screens in roughly five weeks’ time.

The trailer promises new rules, secrets and confrontations as the Orange Is The New Black characters face their demons. It’s looking bleak.

Orange Is The New Black season four will be available to stream on Netflix on Friday June 17 at 5pm AEST.
