Ten are dropping some big clues about who's going to enter the jungle this season for I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here!
And the show's hosts, Julia Morris and Chris Brown, just dropped the biggest yet. During a radio appearance with KIIS Network’s national drive hosts Will & Woody, they revealed that one of the two hosts will be competing on the show this year.
So there you have it - either Will McMahon or Woody Whitelaw will be on I'm A Celeb this year, matching up with the clue "an radio host who loves to kiss and tell."
The ninth season of Ten’s reality series will premiere on April 2 after being bumped back from its usual January timeslot to make space for The Bachelors.
And Ten are now drip-feeding clues about who will join them in the African jungle this season. Here’s who they’re teasing so far:
This former international Wallaby is no stranger to South Africa. Will other campmates get him offside or will he be crowned jungle king? Could this be David Pocock? He's a former Wallaby who was born and raised in Zimbabwe, just north of South Africa. He does have a busy political career now - but so does Jacquie Lambie, and she's done I'm A Celeb.
A Logie-winning legend. She's a star of the stage and screen who's no stranger to drama away from home. Georgie Parker's our guess for this one: She's a double Gold Logie winner, a star of the stage and screen, and a longtime Home and Away cast member.
Will this celeb chef master the jungle and walk away with the crown like chefs before them? This could be literally anyone from the Australian MasterChef universe. Who would we like to see? Any of the judges, past or present, would make for good TV.
An outspoken TV host who's sure to divide campmates. Steve Price seems an obvious pick for this one - but he's already been on the show (and never shuts up about it). Still thinking inside the Ten stable... how about Kate Langbroek? She's never shy of giving her opinion on The Project.
We're rolling out the red carpet for TV royalty - will they tough it out to raise the crown? These red carpet and royal clues make us think of Angela Bishop, who handles much of Ten's celeb and royal coverage. Having been on-air for several decades, she absolutely qualifies as TV royalty at this point.
Which reality star will get a fright at first sight? No stranger to dinner parties, they have a lot of baggage on board. This must surely be a Married At First Sight contestant. Which one? Right now, that's anyone's guess. We'd love to see someone outspoken and controversial, like Jessika Power or Olivia Frazer.
A UK TV Star that’s ‘shore’ to bring the drama to the jungle. This is obviously going to be another cast member from UK reality series Geordie Shore, after fellow stars Vicky Pattinson and Charlotte Crosby already competed in previous seasons. Who could it be this time - Chloe Ferry?
A radio host who loves to kiss and tell will have plenty of beans to spill. As confirmed by the hosts themselves, this will be either Will McMahon or Woody Whitelaw.
A sporting legend who is the queen of the court. Margaret Court? Surely not. This is a tricky one - ‘court’ could mean tennis, basketball or perhaps even another sport. Perhaps former tennis champ Jelena Dokic? Or how about retired netball great Liz Ellis, who makes regular appearances on The Project?
Add to those, the less detailed clues given in the TV teaser: a Brownlow Medal-winning “famous footballer”, a “comedian”, and a “boxing lightweight” (rumoured to be Harry Garside).
In the almost two-minute teaser clip, hosts Julia Morris and Chris Brown perform a high-energy musical number, set on a plane headed to South Africa.
Last season, veteran TV and radio host Dylan Lewis was crowned King of the Jungle, with singer Brooke McClymont named as runner-up and former AFL coach and player Nathan Buckley landing in third place.
