‘I feel like a f***ing loser’: Keeping Up With the Kardashians final season premieres

With breakups, tears and a possible pregnancy, the final season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians premiered in bombshell form.

Kim Kardashian has broken down in tears in the season premiere of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, saying she feels “like a f***ing loser”.

In a new teaser for the final series, Kim flashes one of her signature “ugly crying” faces that has launched countless Instagram memes.

“I feel like a f***ing loser,” Kim said in the clip.

It is unclear whether Kim was directly referring to her marriage breakdown with ex-husband Kanye West, which is believed to be addressed later in the season, but either way, it was intense.

In another bombshell moment, E! teased the return of Caitlyn Jenner aka Kris Jenner’s ex.

“I got a call from Caitlyn but I just don’t know if I am going to want to go down this road,” Kris Jenner said.

The Kardashians and Jenners announced last year that thiswould be their last with E! before they signed a new mega streaming deal with Disney.

Here are the key moments from KUWTK’s season premiere featuring Kourtney and Scott drama, an absent Sofia Richie, and a Malibu Barbie-style beach house.

‘I CAN’T DO ANYTHING’

Lawyer-in-the-making Kim is shown preparing for her “Baby Bar” legal exam, which she explained takes up 10 to 12 hours of her day.

While the rest of the family is sunbaking in Malibu, Kim is at her desk preparing for the test, which she calls a “rollercoaster”.

“I’m memorising the concepts but sometimes I’m not fully grasping them,” Kim says, setting off exam-related PTSD for viewers.

She muses that quarantine “has been the best thing for me because I can’t do anything.”

While not mentioning West, she said the couple’s four children were “in Wyoming” (where West has a ranch).

“The hardest thing for me (is) to be away from the kids but I need to really dedicate myself (to studying),” she said.

“I either know it now, or I don’t.”

KOURTNEY AND SCOTT

Casually sipping kombucha on a white couch, Kourtney asks her ex-boyfriend (and baby daddy) Scott Disick about the status of his relationship with Sofia Richie, his much younger girlfriend.

“What’s going on with you and Sofia, I heard you guys are on a break?” Kourtney deadpans, as if reading off a script. Also, didn’t she quit KUWTK? Turns out, she’s back for the final season.

“People come into our lives and maybe it’s easier than they think,” Scott tells her, managing to sound profound while looking like he’s just returned from a Miami golf trip.

“It’s very true that we come with a lot of baggage,” Disick explains to Kourt.

“When it sinks in and it becomes real life, it’s a lot different. I don’t think I could do it, the other way around. But I have always been clear … taking care of you is one of my priorities,” he says. Hopefully, Kourt doesn’t dump Travis Barker to get back with Scott.

Kourtney confesses that she “definitely wants Scott to be happy” and that the exes are “so close”.

“I appreciate that he prioritises me, but I think the biggest thing is I want him to prioritise himself.” 

‘I MIGHT NOT GET TO FEEL LIKE THAT’ 

Mother-of-one Khloe Kardashian opens up about her fertility journey, documenting her struggle to have another baby with ex-boyfriend/current boyfriend, NBA star Tristan Thompson.

She explains that eggs she had previously had frozen failed, and she has to “start the whole egg retrieval process again”.

“The no guarantees, the surgery, the aftermath of it all – it’s daunting, it’s scary, it’s stressful. It’s hard,” Khloe says.

“My hormone injections really, really suck this time.” 

Later in the episode, Khloe documents the emotional process of giving herself hormone injections and revealed the results of her egg retrieval (she got 12 eggs, three of which became embryos).

“I seem to be running into more and more roadblocks,” Khloe says, as she contemplates surrogacy.

Kim chimes in: “I honestly had the best experience with surrogacy.”

Khloe reveals: “I really can’t believe this is happening. Knowing I might not get to feel like that (pregnant) again is … daunting.”

SCOTT AND SOFIA BREAK-UP

Does Sofia Richie actually exist? Her name came up a lot in this episode, but she never appeared.

Wearing a floral-print shirt, Scott explains what went down with Sofia off-camera. “I want to be there for you but how can we (approach) … things so I feel comfortable?,” he claims she told him.

Then in typical Kardashian form, everyone weighs in.

“Over time that would be hard to handle, I’ve thought about that … most women wouldn’t put up with that,” Kris says, apparently siding with her daughter’s ex-boyfriend’s new girlfriend.

“I wouldn’t to be with someone who was vacationing with an ex and just them,” Kim chimes in, reclining poolside on a day-bed.

She hints at how she would handle herself in the same situation, which may be a sign of what’s to come with her ex, Kanye (who according to reports is only speaking to her via his security team).

“I still think there should be a bit more structure,” Kim says, of Kourtney and Scott’s co-parenting arrangement. “It’s as if they’re together except no sexual anything.“

Scott then reveals that Sofia gave him an ultimatum: “You have to choose me or Kourtney”.

“She was like, ‘I don’t want to share you as a boyfriend with Kourtney’. And I was like, ‘I totally understand.’”

In a weirdly touching moment, Scott told KUWTK’s cameras: “I’m never going to give up my relationship with Kourtney”. Cue more drama.

The final season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians airs on Foxtel’s E! at 11am on Fridays and is repeated at 8.30pm.
