Game of Thrones star Lena Headey wouldn’t appear in the same scene as one of her co-stars after a nasty real-life breakup.

Game of Thrones actress Lena Headey refused to appear on-screen with co-star Jerome Flynn after a nasty real-life breakup, according to a report that surfaced ahead of the show’s final episode.

Headey, who plays ruthless royal Cersei Lannister in the fantasy drama, requested scenes be carefully planned so the former lovebirds wouldn’t have to be in the same room together, a source from the show told the The Sun.

“Lena and Jerome have not filmed together due to a bad breakup,” the source said. “She appears to have a genuine hate towards him.”

The actress dated Flynn, who plays the brawny bodyguard Bronn, before the show first aired in 2011.

They kept their bitter feelings quiet on-set over the past eight years — but have never appeared in a scene together, according to the report.

“They kept the full extent of it secret, but it was a very turbulent relationship, and it has been very awkward on set,” the source said, adding, “(She) has opened up to her trusted friends.”

The actors aren’t on speaking terms, according to a 2014 report.

The final episode of the eight-season series will air today at 11am on Foxtel’s Fox Showcase channel.
