Katie Holmes left fans in awe with her ageless looks on Jimmy Fallon.
The actress, 45, was on the show to promote her Broadway run of Our Town, which she’s currently performing eight times a week.
“It’s like a dream job,” she said. “I love this play. It’s been done so many times.
“Our director said ‘this is Our Town for our time’, and it’s obviously a bit of a reimagining but the script is still the same.”
Among the 28-strong cast is Jim Parsons, Michelle Wilson, Julie Halston and Zoey Deutch, reports The Sun.
Fallon viewers were quick to comment on Katie’s flawless appearance, with one writing on social media: “She aged like fine wine.”
Another said: “She looks great! Ageing can be beautiful!”
A third posted: “Katie is ageing so gracefully and this is so incredibly admirable. She is herself and that’s how she should be. So many of us fight ageing when we should realise what an absolutely privilege it truly is.”
A fourth exclaimed: “She looks great!”
Perhaps the secret behind her youthful looks is her love of a good nap. Jimmy even surprised her by showing a snap of her snoozing on a couch beside her stage co-stars.
And Katie admitted the first thing she thinks about when arriving somewhere new is where she’ll be able to get her head down.
Family woman Katie was supported in the studio by her parents, who Jimmy also praised for kindly putting together a ‘care package’ for him filled with fun treats.
Jimmy said: “It’s the best thing I ever got, I loved it so much.”
Batman and Dawson’s Creek star Katie recently spoke about her own role as a mother and gave rare insight into her relationship with daughter Suri, who she shares with Tom Cruise.
The 18-year-old graduated from her New York City high school in June and Katie, who has attempted to keep her daughter out of the spotlight throughout her childhood, told Town & Country what lies ahead for her.
“I’m proud of my daughter,” she said. “Of course, I will miss the proximity, but I’m really proud of her and I’m happy.
“I remember being this age, this time of beginnings. It’s exciting to learn about yourself, and I loved that time, so it makes me happy to think about it like that.”
